Blackjack variants
Beat the dealer without going over 21.
Classic is the place to learn basic strategy: six decks, the dealer stands on all 17s and blackjack pays 3 to 2. Atlantic City adds late surrender, European deals no hole card, Single Deck and Double Deck have the dealer hit soft 17, and Spanish 21 takes out the tens and pays bonuses on some 21s.

About these games
Every table plays with the same buttons: Hit, Stand, Double and Split, with insurance offered when the dealer shows an ace. What changes from one table to the next is the number of decks, whether the dealer hits soft 17, when you may double or split, and whether you can surrender. Vegas Strip is close to Classic, with four decks instead of six, but lets any two ten-value cards split.
Start at Classic while you learn basic strategy. Each of the other tables then tests one change: surrender at Atlantic City, the missing hole card at European, where a dealer blackjack also takes doubled and split bets, and fewer doubles at Single Deck. Spanish 21 plays the most differently, since only 12 of every 48 cards are worth ten and its bonus 21s can make hitting worth more than doubling.
You play with 1000 virtual chips that have no cash value, betting 5 to 500 a round, and Start over refills your stack if it drops below the minimum. Every table is free in your browser with no account, and Blackjack is played on your own against the dealer, so there are no online tables.
