Solitaire is played alone, and its page holds Klondike, FreeCell, Canfield, Forty Thieves, Yukon and Spider with their relatives, along with Pyramid, Calculation, Aces Up and Aces and Kings. Blackjack is played against the dealer. Hearts, Spades and Belote are trick-taking games, and in Gin Rummy you build your hand into melds. Hearts, Spades, Belote and Gin Rummy can also be played online against other people.

About these games
Solitaire and Blackjack need nobody else at the table, and Blackjack is played with virtual chips that have no cash value. Hearts, Spades, Belote and Gin Rummy are played against computer players that decide only from their own cards and the cards they have seen played, never from a look at your hand.
Of the four, Hearts is the simplest to pick up: four players, no partners and no bidding, only points to avoid. Spades adds bidding and a partner who sits opposite you. Belote is played with a partner too, on a 32-card deck where the jack and nine of trumps rank highest. Gin Rummy is a two-player game of drawing and discarding, and your melds are worked out for you when a hand ends.
Every card game is free in your browser, and none needs an account to play alone. Signed in, you can open an online table for Hearts, Spades, Belote or Gin Rummy and share its code with friends, and every Solitaire game adds a daily board, the same deal for everyone that day.
