Both games are Hearts against three computer players, with the same passing and scoring. The classic game ends when a player reaches 100 points. The short game ends at 50, so a single bad hand weighs twice as much.

About these games
A hand of Hearts is 13 tricks, and passing goes left, right, across and then not at all before the cycle repeats. Nobody can take more than 26 points in a hand, so the classic game always lasts at least four hands, while the short game can be over in two. Start with the classic game: it leaves room to recover from a bad hand and to try shooting the moon.
In the short game the queen of spades alone is more than a quarter of the target, so pass her, or the ace and king that could catch her, when your spades are short, and keep attempts at taking all 26 for very strong hands.
