75-Ball Bingo
How to play 75-Ball Bingo
Bingo is a game of chance in which numbered balls are drawn at random and called, and the first player to complete the pattern on a card and claim it wins.
Play a five by five card for a line, the four corners, an X or a blackout.
About 75-Ball Bingo
75-ball bingo is played on a five by five card. The columns B, I, N, G and O hold 1 to 15, 16 to 30, 31 to 45, 46 to 60 and 61 to 75, and the free space in the centre counts as marked.
Each game is played for one pattern, chosen in the settings. Line is any row, column or diagonal, Four corners is the four corner numbers, X is both diagonals and Blackout is the whole card. Line is the default.
Four corners needs four numbers and X needs eight, since the free space sits on both diagonals. Blackout needs all 24, so it is the longest game.
The goal of Bingo
The caller draws numbered balls one at a time, and you mark the called numbers on your cards. Complete the pattern being played and press Bingo on the ball that completes it.
How to set up Bingo
Playing alone, you sit in a hall of four with three computer players. Choose how many cards to play: one to four in 75-ball bingo, or one to six tickets in 90-ball bingo. The computer players play as many as you do, so more cards give you more to watch, not better odds.
A ball is called every six seconds on Relaxed, every four on Normal and every two and a half on Fast. A three second countdown comes before the first ball.
Bingo rules
Tap a number on your card to mark it once it has been called. A number that has not been called cannot be marked. Set marking to automatic and every called number is marked for you, but you still press Bingo yourself.
Your marks are only there to help you. When you press Bingo, your cards are checked against the numbers called, not against your marks, so a number you forgot to mark still counts.
A claim counts only on the ball that completed your card. Once the next ball is called you have one more second to claim; after that the bingo is missed, and that card cannot claim it again. On Line or One line, a later ball can still complete a different line on the same card.
Pressing Bingo when none of your cards has the pattern is a false claim. Your Bingo button is then locked until three more balls have been called.
How to win at Bingo
The first valid claim stops the caller, and any other valid claim on the same ball in the next three seconds joins it. One claimant wins the game, and several claimants on the same ball share the win.
Solo games are not recorded on the site. Your wins and the fewest balls you needed for a bingo are kept in this browser.
Bingo strategy tips
Check each new ball against your cards before the next one is called. A claim counts only on the ball that completes a card, with one second of grace once the next ball is called, so a bingo you spot any later is a bingo you have lost.
Each card shows how many numbers it still needs. Keep an eye on the cards that need one, so you are ready to press Bingo the moment their number comes up.
With four cards on Fast, switch marking to automatic. You still have to spot the bingo yourself, but you will not fall behind with the marking.
Do not press Bingo on a hunch. A false claim locks your button for three balls, which is long enough to miss a real bingo.
Bingo questions and answers
How many numbers are on a bingo card?
A 75-ball bingo card has 24 numbers on a five by five grid, with a free space in the middle. Its columns B, I, N, G and O hold 1 to 15, 16 to 30, 31 to 45, 46 to 60 and 61 to 75. A 90-ball ticket has 15 numbers on three rows of nine columns, five in each row.
What is a full house in bingo?
A full house is every number on a ticket called. In 90-ball bingo it is the last of three stages, after one line and two lines, and the player who claims it wins the game. On a 75-ball card the same thing is called a blackout.
What does blackout mean in bingo?
A blackout is all 24 numbers on a 75-ball card, with the free space counted as marked. It is one of the four patterns 75-ball bingo is played for here, along with a line, the four corners and an X across both diagonals.
What is the difference between 75-ball and 90-ball bingo?
75-ball bingo uses a five by five card with a free space in the centre, and each game is played for one pattern. 90-ball bingo uses tickets of three rows and nine columns with 15 numbers each, and a game goes through three stages: one line, two lines and a full house.
Is 90-ball bingo the same as Russian Loto?
They share the card: three rows of nine columns holding 15 of the numbers 1 to 90, five in each row, with each column keeping to its own range. In Russian Loto the numbers are on kegs drawn from a bag, and a game is usually played until someone covers a whole card, with a single row counting only if the players agree on it first. 90-ball bingo here is called with balls and goes through three stages, one line, two lines and a full house, and only the full house decides the game.
What happens if two people call bingo at the same time?
They share the win. The first valid claim stops the caller, and any other player whose card was completed by the same ball has three seconds to claim as well. Every valid claim in that window shares the win, so a faster connection never takes a tie away from you.
What happens if you call bingo by mistake?
Pressing Bingo when none of your cards has the pattern is a false claim. The game carries on, but your Bingo button stays locked until three more balls have been called.
What happens if you miss your bingo?
A claim counts only on the ball that completed your card, with one second of grace once the next ball is called. After that the bingo is missed, and that card cannot claim it again. On Line or One line, a later ball can still complete a different line on the same card.
Can you play bingo online with friends?
Yes. Signed-in players can open a table for two to eight people, and the host chooses 75-ball bingo for a line, four corners, an X or a blackout, or 90-ball bingo. Every seat plays three cards or tickets, a ball is called every four seconds, and there are no computer players at an online table.
Can you play bingo against the computer?
Yes, both Bingo pages are you against three computer players, and you do not need to sign in. A computer player claims as soon as one of its cards is complete and never claims falsely, but if the same ball completes one of your cards, you have three seconds to claim and share the win.
